About The Position

Medtronic is seeking an experienced infrastructure engineer to help build and operate the AWS cloud infrastructure behind the Affera Digital Platform, which supports mapper training, clinical management, quality investigation workflows, and R&D. The platform runs across multiple AWS regions, orchestrates containerized workloads, serves a modern web frontend, manages GPU instances for remote 3D visualization, and operates data ingestion pipelines. The engineer serves as a US-based platform contact, investigates issues, improves monitoring and alerting, and resolves recurring problems. They also evolve Terraform-based AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, environments, and engineering tools to make delivery faster and safer. The role collaborates with backend, frontend, and DevOps engineers in the US and Europe, partners with Medtronic security and cloud teams on reviews and compliance, and contributes to architecture decisions involving scalability, cost, and security.
