CONTRACT - Sr Accountant

About The Position
The Senior Accountant will support accounting process documentation and assist with routine accounting tasks across the broader Accounting & Reporting department, including revenue and general ledger accounting. The position is a 12-month contract role at Nintendo of America. It is hybrid in Redmond, Washington, requiring regular onsite work according to the division’s schedule and guidelines; fully remote work is not available. The role includes a base pay range of $50–$75 USD and eligibility for benefits through the employing agency.
Requirements
- Four to six years of related experience.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and accounting procedures.
- Experience in financial statement analysis.
- Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform month-end, quarterly, and annual closing activities and financial reporting duties, including accruals, adjustments, account reconciliations, variance explanations, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare financial forecasts for assigned areas of responsibility.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial and management reports.
- Document accounting processes and review standard operating procedures.
- Support process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with routine accounting tasks across the department, including revenue and general ledger accounting.
