About The Position

The Senior Accountant will support accounting process documentation and assist with routine accounting tasks across the broader Accounting & Reporting department, including revenue and general ledger accounting. The position is a 12-month contract role at Nintendo of America. It is hybrid in Redmond, Washington, requiring regular onsite work according to the division’s schedule and guidelines; fully remote work is not available. The role includes a base pay range of $50–$75 USD and eligibility for benefits through the employing agency.

Requirements

• Four to six years of related experience.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and accounting procedures.
• Experience in financial statement analysis.
• Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end, quarterly, and annual closing activities and financial reporting duties, including accruals, adjustments, account reconciliations, variance explanations, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare financial forecasts for assigned areas of responsibility.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial and management reports.
• Document accounting processes and review standard operating procedures.
• Support process improvement initiatives.
• Assist with routine accounting tasks across the department, including revenue and general ledger accounting.
