About The Position

Nintendo of America is hiring a Senior Accountant for its Accounting & Reporting department. This 12-month contract role supports accounting process documentation and routine accounting tasks across the department, including revenue and general ledger accounting. The position is hybrid in Redmond, Washington, with regular onsite work under the division’s schedule and guidelines; it is not open to fully remote status.

The role performs closing and financial reporting activities, prepares forecasts and management reports, documents accounting processes, and supports process improvement initiatives. Pay is listed as $50–$75 USD. The contract position is eligible for benefits through the employing agency, subject to elections, eligibility requirements, and plan and program terms; offerings will be confirmed at the time of offer and may differ by agency partner.

Requirements

• Four to six years of related experience.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures (GAAP).
• Experience in financial statement analysis.
• Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end, quarterly, and annual closing activities and financial reporting duties, including accruals, adjustments, account reconciliations, variance explanations, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare financial forecasts for assigned areas of responsibility.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial and management reports.
• Document accounting processes and review standard operating procedures.
• Support process improvement initiatives.
• Assist with routine accounting tasks across the department, including revenue and general ledger accounting.
