About The Position

The Associate Youth Pastor (Junior High Focus) exists to help build a thriving youth ministry by developing leaders, discipling students, executing ministry systems, and creating environments where students who are far from God come near to Him. This role will provide primary leadership for the Junior High ministry while also helping strengthen the overall youth ministry through leadership development, volunteer care, follow-up, administration, and ministry execution. We are looking for someone who is a builder. Someone who sees opportunities, takes initiative, and enjoys turning vision into reality. This person should be energized by developing people, improving systems, and doing whatever it takes, whether that's leading from the stage, following up with a new family, setting up chairs, or organizing details behind the scenes.

Requirements

  • A growing and authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Passion for reaching and discipling the next generation.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently while thriving on a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to do both strategic leadership and practical ministry tasks.
  • Must pass a background check.

  • Help create systems that allow ministry to grow without sacrificing excellence.
  • Assist in planning and executing events, camps, retreats, and special services.
  • Ensure every new student and family receives intentional follow-up.
  • Maintain ministry systems including attendance, communication, and volunteer processes.
  • Track ministry metrics and communicate progress.
  • Respond promptly to emails, texts, and ministry communication.
  • Help manage ministry budgets, supplies, and administrative needs.
  • Recruit new leaders throughout the year.

  • Help create training experiences for volunteers.
  • Encourage, care for, and invest in leaders relationally.
  • Partner with Youth staff to create an excellent experience for students and families.
  • Support ministry needs outside of assigned responsibilities when needed.
  • Willingly handle routine and behind-the-scenes tasks that help the ministry operate with excellence.
  • Participate in campus-wide initiatives and special events.
  • Continue to grow as a follower of Christ, ensuring your ministry overflows from a vibrant personal relationship with Him.
  • Meet the scriptural requirements of an elder (regardless of official elder status) by living a spiritually surrendered life, relying on the Holy Spirit, and prioritizing consistent prayer and scripture study.
  • Faithfully and consistently support the mission of ONE&ALL through sacrificial giving, modeling the “firstfruits” principle with a tithe as the benchmark for growth.

  • Maintain active on-campus availability Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
  • Participate in weekend services in alignment with pastoral staff expectations.
