About The Position

Community Alliance Church in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, is hiring a full-time Youth Pastor to lead and develop its youth ministry. The church is a multi-generational, Christ-centered community focused on growing in relationship with God, connecting with others, and reaching the local community and the world. The church has approximately 200–300 attendees, and its youth group has approximately 60–80 students. Current ministry rhythms include a Wednesday evening gathering for grades 6–12, a Sunday morning gathering for middle school students during Sunday School, and Bible study groups throughout the week. The church also follows a three-year rotation of a Life Conference, an overseas mission trip, and a domestic mission trip, with an emphasis on partnership with C&MA missionaries. The Youth Pastor will work collaboratively with the church staff, contribute to ministry planning and the overall health and vision of the church, develop volunteer youth leaders, partner with parents, and support a parent-led fundraising committee. Applicants should submit an application including a testimony, résumé, and other relevant background information. The position may require licensing with The Christian & Missionary Alliance; applicants must be licensed or willing to obtain licensure within three years. The church asks applicants not to contact it directly.
