About The Position
The Real Time Payments (RTP) & Wire Transfer Services team oversees end-to-end processing, investigation, and scheduling of domestic and international payments across Key’s network. The team works with internal departments and external consumer and commercial clients to ensure accurate, timely RTP and wire transactions using the Dovetail Payments Platform (EPP). The Wire Transfer Specialist works within a sub-team and researches wire requests, updates internal partners and clients on transaction status, and processes electronic money transfers between banks through Wire Operations systems. The role may also set up recurring outgoing wire transfers, including their frequency and dollar amount. The position is based at 4910 Tiedeman Road in Brooklyn, Ohio, with a hybrid arrangement available after training.
Requirements
- More than two years of experience in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented role.
- Understanding of payment processing.
- Ability to maintain a thorough understanding of Wire and RTP laws and regulations.
- Ability to follow internal procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Skill in navigating various systems and applications to address everyday problems.
- Proven ability to understand and work with technology or systems.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience managing client-facing deliverables with SLA requirements.
- Ability to quickly understand new concepts and procedures.
- Ability to prioritize commitments, assign tasks, and follow up on assignments.
- A strong client-focused service mindset and record of service delivery excellence.
- Ability to remain flexible and effective in a fast-paced team environment.
- Skill in handling tasks and emails through a shared Outlook inbox.
- Ability to manage risk.
Nice To Haves
- At least two years of payment processing experience.
- Strong understanding of electronic payment processes.
- Experience with and demonstrated compliance with Wire and RTP regulations.
- Experience with Dovetail or comparable wire and RTP processing systems.
- Familiarity with HOGAN, OLDs, Dovetail, KeyView Deluxe, and Quest payment systems.
Responsibilities
- Research requests online and in repositories in accordance with Service Level Agreement (SLA) terms.
- Navigate payment channels and systems, including OLDs and Hogan.
- Minimize client errors and prevent controllable losses and privacy breaches.
- Answer customer service calls about Wire and RTP transactions and initiate wire transactions.
- Perform secondary reviews and release Wire and RTP transactions, potentially involving millions of dollars.
- Make decisions regarding OFAC and high-risk transactions.
- Identify and report suspicious activity involving clients or internal partners.
- Follow guidelines to identify and resolve routine issues.
- Perform multiple responsibilities with moderate to minimal supervision.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
