About The Position

Montessori Academy on the Ranch is seeking an Assistant Primary Teacher to join their team. This role involves assisting with the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, preparing and organizing learning materials, and supervising children during all activities, including meals and naptime, to ensure a safe and positive learning environment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center
  • Prior experience with toddler and pre-school students
  • Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
  • 12 Child Development Units-Required by the State of California
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills are required
  • Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners are essential to this position

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum
  • Prepare and organize learning materials
  • Supervise children during all activities, including meals and naptime, to ensure a safe and positive learning environment
  • Help lead innovative learning activities that promote children’s development and growth
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
  • Monitor children’s progress and development
