About The Position

Requirements

• Active Sterile Processing certification required
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification
• Knowledge of decontamination, instrument assembly, sterilization, and sterile storage procedures
• Ability to float to affiliated locations as needed
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and infection prevention practices
• Must reside outside the required facility radius at the time of assignment

Nice To Haves

• Associate Degree, Certificate, or equivalent Sterile Processing experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Support the Sterile Processing Department
• Ensure surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly decontaminated, assembled, sterilized, and prepared for patient care
• Float to affiliated locations as needed
