About The Position
As a Security Officer Part Time Overnight Patrol in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide courteous customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
- Access control and badge experience are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining patient and facility privacy.
