Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a driving patrol post at a dynamic terminal location in Mobile, Alabama. The officer will safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication. The role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements and a TSA-issued TWIC. The stated pay rate is $16.50 per hour. The schedule lists daytime shifts on Monday and Friday, 5:00 AM–5:00 PM. The position involves carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responding calmly to incidents and critical situations, and performing regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. Applicants must meet the stated age and education requirements and are subject to applicable background investigation and drug screening requirements.
Requirements
- Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
- Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
- Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
