Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver
About The Position
As a part-time Security Officer and Patrol Driver at a retail location in Johnstown, Ohio, you will help safeguard clients, shoppers, and store team members. You will conduct unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and contribute to a welcoming environment. The driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service and clear communication, along with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The position pays $18.50 per hour. Additional shifts may be available through the Claim a Shift platform.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable licensing requirements under state or local laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by following site-specific procedures and policies and, when appropriate, responding to emergencies.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of sales floors, stock areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Monitor for unusual activity, potential loss-prevention concerns, and facility issues; help deter unauthorized activity and report observations to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
- Communicate professionally with store management, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.
