Security Officer Part Time Driver Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Patrol Unarmed Security Officer for a driving patrol post in West Palm Beach, Florida. The officer will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing professional customer service. The role requires communicating professionally and responding to site needs with integrity. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position is scheduled for daytime and evening/night hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday. Officers may use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. The position pays $19.67 per hour.
Requirements
- Possess a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
- Have at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Ability to ride a bike for long periods is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
- Communicate professionally and respond to site needs with integrity.
