About The Position

As a part-time unarmed patrol driver in North East, Maryland, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, deterring security-related incidents, supporting access control, and providing customer service. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally, and respond to site needs with integrity. The position offers a flexible schedule, with additional shifts available through the Claim a Shift platform. The scheduled shifts are Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour. Employment is contingent on applicable background investigation and drug screening. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
