About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a food and beverage retail location in Black Mountain, North Carolina. The role involves providing customer service, conducting regular and random unarmed patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access points and store operations, reporting concerns, and responding professionally to incidents. The stated pay rate is $17.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements if required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, vendors, and visitors while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations; contact appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the store, parking areas, loading and receiving areas, and exterior perimeter.
• Monitor access points and store operations, and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation according to site-specific procedures.
