About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Patrol Visibility to support a government location in Albany, New York. This unarmed patrol role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, reporting observations, and providing customer service and clear communication. The listed pay rate is $22.07 per hour. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen.
Licensing may be required before employment, depending on applicable state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and observe personnel, visitor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency responders as directed.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
