About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Visibility in San Antonio, Texas, assigned to a healthcare location. The position provides a fixed weekly shift at a designated site, with a six-month commitment to that assignment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform to increase their hours, potentially building up to 40 hours per week while retaining the option to scale back.

The role involves providing customer service while carrying out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities. The officer conducts unarmed patrols, monitors access points, reports concerns, responds to incidents, and completes required documentation. The listed pay rate is $21.26 per hour. The scheduled shift is Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate site contacts or emergency personnel.
• Accurately complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
