About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol Visibility in Whitsett, North Carolina. The role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site, with the option to pick up additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. The designated site and weekly anchor shift require a six-month commitment. Employees may build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week and can scale back when needed.

The position is at a technology, media, and telecommunications location and involves customer service, unarmed patrols, access monitoring, and responding to incidents. The listed pay rate is $16.89 per hour. The scheduled shift is Sunday, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking facilities, building entrances, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and document observations in incident reports according to company and site requirements.
• Communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, providing timely updates about security concerns, maintenance issues, and emergency conditions.
