About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard Enhanced Patrol assigned to a financial institution in Saint Louis, Missouri. The role provides a designated weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment to that fixed schedule. Employees may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to build up to 40 hours per week and scale back as needed. The stated pay rate is $18.54 per hour. The listed shift is Saturday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The guard provides customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Duties include monitoring access points, verifying visitor authorization, documenting visitor and incident information, responding to incidents and alarms, conducting unarmed patrols, and reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns.

Applicants must be at least 18 for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local regulations. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require candidates to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution while following security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor authorization.
• Maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts or emergency services when required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
