About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Enhanced Patrol Dispatch for an assigned site in Jersey City, New Jersey. This part-time role provides a designated weekly anchor shift, requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Hours may vary week to week, with the opportunity to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week and the option to scale back. The position pays $19.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Saturday, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM.

The role involves delivering customer service while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents and emergencies, and conducting regular and random patrols. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. Applicants are subject to background investigation and, where permitted by law, drug screening. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
