About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol Protection in White Haven, Pennsylvania. The position provides a dependable weekly shift at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The assigned weekly shift requires a six-month commitment. Employees may build toward a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week and can scale back when needed. The role involves providing customer service and conducting unarmed patrols at a distribution location, including its warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and perimeter. Pay is $17.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements; a license may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
• Commit to the assigned site and weekly shift for six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and warehouse personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access to the distribution location, verify visitor and driver credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notify appropriate personnel, and follow site-specific protocols.
• Observe and report unusual activity, damaged property, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
