About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Reseda, California. The position provides a designated site and dependable weekly anchor shift, with a six-month commitment. Employees may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform and can vary their hours, with the opportunity to build up to 40 hours per week. The listed pay rate is $18.42 per hour. The scheduled shift is Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM.

The role provides customer service and site security by following site-specific procedures, conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and documenting shift activity. The role requires at least six months of security-related experience, a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must be at least 18 for unarmed roles. Employment is subject to applicable background investigation and drug screening requirements; licensing may also be required under state or local rules.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and surrounding property to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, visitor activity, and applicable access points; verify credentials and follow visitor-management procedures.
• Respond professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document events according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and incoming personnel.
