About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol driver in Orlando, Florida. The position provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. The assigned weekly shift is a fixed “anchor shift” requiring a six-month commitment. Employees may work additional shifts at other sites and can build up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back.

The role provides security and customer service at utility operations areas and distribution facilities. Duties include conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring and reporting unusual conditions and hazards, responding to incidents, and completing required documentation. The listed pay rate is $18.00 per hour. The schedule is Sunday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background investigation, as a condition of employment.
• Successful completion of a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility operations areas, distribution facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, access-control concerns, and potential hazards in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, contact appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed, and use problem-solving skills.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Maintain professional communication with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel.
