About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol Security Guard for an assigned financial institution site in Charlotte, North Carolina. The position has a designated weekly anchor shift that requires a six-month commitment. In addition to that fixed shift, the employee may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the opportunity to build up to 40 hours per week and the option to scale back. The listed schedule is Saturday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. The pay rate is $23.00 per hour.

The role provides customer service while carrying out site security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. The guard conducts unarmed patrols, monitors access and visitor activity, responds to incidents and alarms, documents activity, and communicates with site personnel, visitors, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution location while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond professionally and calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious behavior or conditions, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
