About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard Enhanced for unarmed vehicle patrol at a healthcare location in Northridge, California. The role provides a designated weekly anchor shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment. Employees may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to build up to a full-time schedule of as many as 40 hours per week and scale back when needed.

The listed schedule is Monday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The pay rate is $23.00 per hour. The position serves staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site security procedures, responding to incidents, conducting patrols, monitoring access, and documenting activity.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing may be required prior to employment, depending on applicable requirements.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in accordance with site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, including exterior areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and help maintain orderly movement throughout the location.
• Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
