About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Atlanta, Georgia, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication. You will help support a welcoming, orderly environment while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity. The posted pay rate is $15.37 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, building perimeters, entrances, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor vehicle, employee, visitor, and vendor access according to site requirements; document observations and report unusual conditions.
Help maintain orderly operations during high-volume shipping and receiving activity while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
