The 6th Floor Acute Care Unit is a 36-bed Magnet®-designated unit specializing in trauma and oncology care, treating patients with injuries from motor vehicle accidents, falls, and outdoor activities, as well as providing comprehensive care for oncology patients including chemotherapy administration. The unit fosters a culture of positivity, team-building, and professional development, and serves as a designated education unit supporting student nurse education and mentorship.
