About The Position

Under the direction of the immediate supervisor (Dr Najmeh Khalili-Mahani), the candidate will conduct data collection for the Montreal-Paris Neurobank Project, by performing a variety of specialized tasks according to the research and recruitment protocols of the project under the Open-science framework of C-BIG. McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # 3 on a scale of 0-4. This position is covered by the AMURE collective agreement. Before applying, please note that to work at McGill University, you must be both authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located. Requirements

  • Knowledge of French and English
  • Authorized to work in Canada
  • Willing to work in the province of Quebec

Responsibilities

  • Providing support to the recruitment team (calling participants and scheduling their visits)
  • In charge of booking the scanner (booking time, coordinating overtime scans, cancellation, etc.)
  • Assist trainees and lab members with preparing experimental materials including computerized tasks and stimulus sets, for example by downloading files or code from web sites.
  • Accompanying participants during their scan visits to the MEG and MRI units.
  • Administering cognitive tests and entering the data in our database.
  • Ensuring complete data transition from the scanner to the database.
  • Viewing the data and reporting gross artifacts.
  • Acquiring MEG.
