About The Position
The Sleep and Behavioral Neuroscience Center (SBNC) is a state-of-the-art research laboratory with a highly collaborative and dynamic team supporting numerous active research protocols. The Research Assistant III assists polysomnographic technologists and research staff with collecting accurate electrophysiological and study data. The position is grant funded.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Familiarity with computers and common software packages.
- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting, with renewal.
- Act 33 clearance, with renewal.
- Act 34 clearance, with renewal.
- Act 73 FBI Clearance, with renewal.
Nice To Haves
- Some college.
- Knowledge of research methodology.
- Prior research experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor data acquisition equipment.
- Administer paper-and-pencil and computer-based assessments.
- Collect, label, and store urine and saliva samples.
- Obtain accurate vital signs.
- Complete other study procedures in accordance with research protocols.
- Perform entry-level research functions in support of research projects.
- Perform more advanced clerical and/or data-entry responsibilities.
