This position is for a Research Assistant for the Doing Social Research website and podcast. The role involves identifying potential funding sources, investigating collaborative partnerships, and developing website content related to qualitative research methods, with a particular emphasis on Institutional Ethnography and qualitative interviewing. The assistant will also review and suggest improvements to existing website content. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. Undergraduate students will be paid at a lower rate than graduate students. These rates do not include vacation or statutory pay and will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified, with retroactivity paid after ratification. All University of Ottawa employees must complete mandatory legislated training. Applicants requiring adaptive measures during the selection process should notify the university.
