About The Position
This position involves planning, coordination, and provision of nursing care to patients within a medical/surgical unit. The role focuses on addressing the age-related physiological, emotional, and cognitive needs of patients across various age groups, including adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
Requirements
- Current and valid nursing license.
- Knowledge of age-specific care practices and standards.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

- Experience in a medical/surgical setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Monitor and record vital signs as part of routine patient assessments.
- Administer medications and calculate dosages accurately.
- Recognize and respond to physiological changes in patients.
- Address the psychosocial needs of patients and their families.
- Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel, ensuring compliance with their scope of practice.
