About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers quality nursing care through interpersonal contact and provides care and services that help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The RN evaluates patient needs through ongoing assessment and revises care plans based on changes in patients’ conditions. The role also provides clinical supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).

Requirements

• Nursing diploma, associate’s degree in nursing, or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Currently licensed or registered in the applicable state.
• Maintain an active Registered Nurse license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; certification must remain current during employment.
• Ability to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Ability to communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

• One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact.

• Implement and interpret department programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients.
