About The Position
Join Lovelace Medical Center as a full-time, night-shift Registered Nurse in the Rapid Admission Unit in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role provides professional nursing care to patients with a variety of diagnoses, including patients who could potentially experience a crisis situation. The nurse may lead the team during patient crises and, during high-acuity or crisis situations, may work as a staff RN in the ICU, ED, or another designated area of need. The position also supports admission and discharge processes and paperwork to promote optimal patient flow. Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds. Its services include around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology, and oncology. Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing.
- Valid New Mexico nursing license or New Mexico compact license within 90 days of hire.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.

Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients with a variety of diagnoses according to nursing care standards.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients who could potentially experience a crisis situation.
- Serve as team leader during patient crisis situations.
- During high-acuity or crisis situations, function as a staff RN in the ICU, ED, or designated areas of need.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes and paperwork to support optimal patient flow.
