CLFC Healthcare and Communications is hiring a Registered Nurse for a steady, per diem contract assignment at Wayne County’s outpatient mental and behavioral health clinic in Lyons, New York. The nurse works on-site alongside psychiatric prescribers, therapists, and care managers, providing outpatient psychiatric nursing services to patients seen regularly at the clinic. The schedule is Monday through Friday, five 7.5-hour days per week (37.5 hours weekly). Some shifts may extend past 5:00 PM when the clinic is open late, no more than twice a week. There are no overnight, weekend, or holiday shifts. Compensation is $52.00–$58.00 per hour, paid weekly, with pre-authorized overtime paid at time and a half. Orientation is paid at the nurse’s rate. The role is W-2 hourly and per diem contract. CLFC arranges and pays for fingerprinting, immunizations, screening, and license verification. Paid sick leave accrues under New York law, and CLFC professional liability insurance covers every shift. A confirmed clinic cancellation two hours or less before the shift starts is paid for four hours. License and CPR renewal are reimbursed, continuing education and certifications are supported, and tuition assistance of up to $1,500 per year is available toward a BSN. A $500 referral bonus is offered for bringing a nurse or aide onto the roster. Scheduling is managed through the BRIDGE App, where workers can review confirmed schedules and accept or decline added or changed hours. A Program Manager is available to help with scheduling and pay questions. The assignment is based at one clinic in Lyons, Wayne County, approximately 35 miles east of Rochester.
