CLFC Healthcare and Communications is hiring a New York State Registered Professional Nurse for a steady Monday-to-Friday assignment at Wayne County's outpatient mental and behavioral health clinic in Lyons, New York. The on-site role is a W-2 hourly, per diem contract assignment with five 7.5-hour days (37.5 hours per week). Some days may extend past 5:00 PM when the clinic is open late, no more than twice per week. There are no overnight, weekend, or holiday shifts. Compensation is $52.00 to $58.00 per hour, paid weekly; experience, psychiatric nursing background, and long-acting injectable skills affect placement within the range. Pre-authorized overtime is paid at time and a half. The nurse works alongside psychiatric prescribers, therapists, and care managers to provide outpatient psychiatric nursing care, including medication administration and management, monitoring, patient education, coordination, and clinical documentation. The assignment offers paid orientation, reimbursement for New York license and CPR renewals, support for continuing education and certifications, and up to $1,500 per year in tuition assistance toward a BSN. Other stated provisions include a $500 referral bonus for bringing a nurse or aide onto the roster, paid sick leave accrued under New York law, professional liability insurance on every shift, and paid clinic cancellations confirmed two hours or less before the shift begins (four hours of pay). Fingerprinting, immunizations, screening, and license verification are arranged and paid by CLFC. Scheduling and schedule changes are managed through the BRIDGE App; additional or changed hours are presented for acceptance. The assignment is on-site at the County outpatient clinic. The role requires a current, unrestricted New York State Registered Professional Nurse license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, current BLS (CPR), and at least one year of recent RN experience that includes psychiatric, behavioral health, or substance use treatment. Candidates must be able to complete the New York State Department of Health Criminal History Record Check and a drug screen, and must be current on clinic-required immunizations.
