The nurse works on-site alongside psychiatric prescribers, therapists, and care managers, supporting ongoing patient care through medication management, long-acting injectable administration, monitoring, and patient education. The schedule is Monday through Friday, five 7.5-hour days (37.5 hours per week). Some shifts may extend past 5:00 PM when the clinic is open late, no more than two days per week. A confirmed clinic cancellation two hours or less before a shift starts is paid for four hours. This is a W-2 hourly, per diem contract assignment. CLFC arranges and pays for fingerprinting, immunizations, screening, and license verification. Paid sick leave accrues under New York law, and CLFC professional liability insurance covers the nurse on every shift. The package also includes reimbursement for New York license and CPR renewals, support for continuing education and certifications, and up to $1,500 per year in tuition assistance toward a BSN. A $500 referral bonus is offered for bringing a nurse or aide onto the roster. Program terms are provided in writing before acceptance. Scheduling is managed through the BRIDGE App, where the nurse can view confirmed schedules, receive proposed added or changed hours for acceptance, store license and certification information, and receive expiration reminders. A Program Manager is available to assist with scheduling and pay questions. CLFC staffs healthcare roles for government clients and may consider nurses on its roster for future assignments.
