About The Position
A busy, patient-focused dental office in College Station is looking for a dependable and motivated Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing excellent patient care while supporting the dental team.
Requirements
- Active Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
- Approximately 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred
- Nitrous oxide monitoring certification or willingness to obtain after hire
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a busy clinical setting
- Positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Digital dental imaging systems
- Exposure to CAD/CAM dental technology
- Familiarity with OSHA and dental infection control guidelines
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during dental procedures
- Take digital radiographs and ensure accurate patient chart documentation
- Prepare and restock treatment rooms before and after patient visits
- Sterilize instruments and follow proper infection control protocols
- Assist with patient education, including oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Support smooth daily clinic operations and maintain an organized workspace
