About The Position
Canyon Lake Smiles is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Assistant to support patients and dentists in a dental office. The role includes preparing patients for exams, taking digital X-rays, assisting with treatment procedures, maintaining a sterile and organized clinical environment, educating patients, and helping manage appointments and patient care. The assistant also performs teeth polishing and sealant placement and helps create a welcoming atmosphere for patients. Schedule: Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Valid Texas-issued Registered Dental Assistant license.
- Proficiency in digital X-rays and charting.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
Nice To Haves
- Sealant Placement, Nitrous Monitoring, and Coronal Polishing certifications; training is available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and prepare patients for dental exams and help them feel at ease.
- Take digital X-rays.
- Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Maintain a sterile, organized exam and treatment environment.
- Educate patients about treatment options and aftercare.
- Perform teeth polishing and sealant placement procedures.
- Help manage patient appointments and care.
- Follow sterilization standards.
- Foster a warm, engaging atmosphere for patients.
