About The Position

West Coast Dental, a dynamic and fast-growing group of over 45 dental offices serving Southern California for over 30 years, is seeking Registered Dental Assistants (RDAs). We are committed to providing high-quality general and specialty dental and orthodontic care with a great patient experience. We offer opportunities for growth through training, professional development, and company-sponsored continuing education (CE) in our state-of-the-art practices equipped with digital systems and modern equipment. We serve a large, diverse patient base across Southern California and foster a team approach with great clinical and administrative teams.

Requirements

  • Registered Dental Assistant certificate in California.
  • Current x-ray license in California.
  • Current coronal polish and sealant certification.
  • Adherence to strict OSHA compliance.
  • Knowledge of sterilization procedures.
  • Willing to work full-time.

Nice To Haves

  • Specialty dental assisting experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Great interaction with patients to promote trust and the optimal patient experience.
  • Collaborating with an entire office team, from the dentists to receptionists, to promote trust, connection and relationship with patients and one-another.
  • Learning how PPO, HMO, and other dental plans work to optimize patient benefits.
  • Proactively addressing patient concerns and providing insight and comfort to patients with regard to their dental treatment.
