About The Position
Powerback is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their mission of improving lives by helping older adults stay active and thrive, and providing essential therapy for children. With over 38 years of experience, Powerback delivers personalized care in various settings including skilled nursing centers, assisted and independent living facilities, outpatient clinics, and home-based care. This role offers the opportunity to join an industry-leading team that restores hope and makes a lasting impact in the field of rehabilitation and wellness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
- Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs.
- Develop patient recovery plans.
- Deliver occupational therapy.
- Design programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients' physical abilities and independence.
- Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity.
