About The Position

We’re growing and seeking a Medical Transportation Call Intake Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll be part of a company that values your skills, professionalism, and commitment to patient care. The Call Intake Specialist (Customer Service Representative) is responsible for professional and courteous phone interaction with customers. You will promptly handle incoming calls, determine the appropriate level of care, resolve inquiries or issues, confirm pick-ups, and ensure that all customers feel valued.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Computer proficiency; working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Detail-oriented and dependable.
  • Comfortable interacting with people and working in a team environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot situations, prioritize tasks, and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, co-workers, supervisors, and the general public.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical terminology or experience in medical transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming customer calls and assess needs through specific questioning.
  • Resolve issues by researching, exploring solutions, implementing corrective actions, and escalating unresolved problems.
  • Call clients to confirm scheduled pick-ups and make adjustments or cancellations as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
