About The Position
Unilever is hiring an Associate Procurement Manager - Condiments for their Supply Chain function. This role is responsible for ensuring service, quality, and resilience for inbound material supply. The position involves strategically supporting inbound material supply by designing resilience, problem-solving, and working closely with planning and MRP teams. The role also drives category growth by securing the inbound supply chain and designing process and structural resilience interventions.
Requirements
- Representing procurement to face suppliers and working with planning and other stakeholders.
- Supporting cross-category and cross-functional service initiatives.
- Supporting procurement activities related to MRP.
- Developing and executing material resilience strategy for North America.
- Driving supplier operational results for material quality and service.
- Leading the establishment of best practices to drive service metrics.
- Providing action plans on risks to supply continuity and building structural resiliency.
- Working cross-functionally with Supply Chain, R&D, and BU teams.
- Understanding supplier relationship structures.
- Managing working capital and cost reductions.
Responsibilities
- Being the representative of procurement to face suppliers to service and inbound supplier, as well as working with planning and other stakeholders.
- Support cross category & cross functional service initiatives and pillars as a member of the team.
- Support the business in all procurement activities related to MRP.
- Develop and execute the material resilience strategy for North America in support of derisking high impact materials and delivering on business continuity needs.
- Responsible for driving supplier operational results though partnership, for material quality and service.
- Lead the establishment of best practices to drive service metrics (Service, Quality and Inventory) to plants from whole supply.
- Provide voice and proposed action plans on all potential risks to supply continuity and build structural resiliency.
- Work cross functionally with teams in Supply Chain, R&D, and BU to land material resilience strategy and gain buy-in for key program initiatives.
- Fully understand the supplier relationship structure, including established linkages between Procurement Portfolio, Global Team and internal/external customers in delivery materials service and quality.
- Managing working capital and misc cost reductions in partnership with Supply Chain and Finance.
