About The Position
As a Procurement Operations Manager at Mars, you will lead categories and a team of associates in creating, implementing, and maintaining global inbound supply chains that enable manufacturing reliability. You will champion high-performing team behaviors and lead the application of supply chain tools and processes to create a lean, agile, and reliable inbound network.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of procurement and/or supply chain experience.
- In-depth understanding of supply chain and supplier relationship management.
- Bachelor’s degree at a minimum.
Responsibilities
- Recommend and implement risk mitigation strategies, inventory management practices, and continuous improvement programs.
- Manage categories that have a high impact on the supply chain.
- Implement sourcing strategies while supporting capital reduction initiatives.
- Provide coaching and development support for a team of 1–2 indirect reports.
- Develop and perform materials management strategies that balance service levels with inventory and obsolescence minimization.
