About The Position

As a Procurement Operations Sr Specialist - Raws at Mars, you will partner closely with the Senior Procurement Manager and Buying Managers to develop and implement category buying strategies. You will manage procurement operations regionally and globally by leveraging supplier relationships, while driving standardization and automation across the network. The role involves cross-functional collaboration to identify global cost savings and cost avoidance strategies, and oversight of more than $100 million in annual spend.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of procurement experience.
• Strong stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills, domestically and internationally.
• At least a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Execute and optimize existing buying strategies, or develop and implement strategies where none exist.
• Manage supplier benchmarking, RFPs, and new supplier qualification.
• Analyze existing supplier performance and generate supplier insights from data and established KPIs.
• Oversee more than $100 million in annual spend.
• Manage regional and global procurement operations using supplier relationships.
• Drive standardization and automation across the network.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify global cost savings and cost avoidance strategies.
