About The Position

As a Procurement Operations Manager – Raws at Mars, you will lead categories and a team of associates in creating, implementing, and maintaining global inbound supply chains that enable manufacturing reliability. You will champion high-performing team behaviors and lead the application of supply chain tools and processes to create a lean, agile, and reliable inbound network.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of procurement and/or supply chain experience.
• In-depth understanding of the supply chain and supplier relationship management.
• Bachelor’s degree at a minimum.

Responsibilities

• Recommend and implement risk mitigation strategies, inventory management practices, and continuous improvement programs.
• Manage categories with high impact on the supply chain.
• Implement sourcing strategies while supporting capital reduction initiatives.
• Coach and support the development of a team of 1–2 indirect reports.
• Develop and perform materials management strategies that balance service levels with inventory and obsolescence minimization.
