About The Position

Requirements

• Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to accurately interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges for quality control.
• Knowledge of shop math, basic math, and safety standards in production environments.
• Mechanical aptitude, including the ability to set up machining tools and perform precision measurements in machining processes.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to machine operation and manufacturing practices.
• Mechanical blueprint interpretation skills for accurate setup and production workflows.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with welding, forming machines, sheet metal fabrication, and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend sheet metal according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and shop math to determine machine setup and operating procedures.
• Use measuring instruments and precision measurement tools to verify dimensions and the quality of finished parts.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments on forming machines to optimize performance.
• Follow safety protocols, including the proper use of hand tools, measuring devices, and safety equipment during machine operation.
• Conduct quality inspections throughout production to ensure finished work adheres to specifications and standards.
