About The Position

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience is required.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds is required.
• Use of a respirator is required; minimal facial hair is necessary to pass respirator fit certification.
• Ability to understand basic machine operations and settings.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and safety.
• At least 1 year of experience is listed as ideal.

Responsibilities

• Deposit raw ingredients into the blender according to the recipe for the product being produced.
• Remove packaging from raw ingredients and feed them into the industrial blender.
• Perform sanitation and preventive maintenance of blending equipment and the blending department.
• Use a forklift to stage raw ingredients and place bins.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, personal protective equipment requirements, and company policies.
• Identify food safety risks and escalate them to the lead or supervisor.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
