About The Position

The Forklift Operator coordinates, organizes, and manages inventory of raw materials and finished goods. The role supports safe and efficient distribution center operations, maintains inventory accuracy and required logistics documentation, and handles the movement of goods, including loading and unloading trailers, trucks, and containers. The position is offered for second- and third-shift schedules and pays $22. It is eligible for quarterly production and monthly attendance bonuses.

Requirements

At least three years of material-handling experience.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of the Sellars Distribution Center.
Basic computer skills.
Good communication skills, including addressing issues positively and completely.
Good interpersonal and teamwork skills; demonstrated ability to work in a team setting.
Flexibility in work assignments and overtime hours.
Professionalism, courtesy, and tact when dealing with Sellars employees and external resources.
Ability to read and interpret documents used in the Distribution Center.
Positive work attitude.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.

Ensure inventory accuracy for roll goods.
Prepare, organize, and maintain logistics paperwork.
Maintain, organize, and coordinate the movement of goods, using FIFO methods when possible.
Complete and verify the accuracy of receipt-, inventory-, and shipment-related documents and forms.
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and efficiently maintained.
Safely and efficiently load and unload trailers, trucks, and containers.
