About The Position

A successful Reach Forklift Operator/LTO is responsible for putaway and picking of products, as well as moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting products. The role uses powered industrial equipment to handle products and materials, prepare shipments, maintain accuracy, and operate safely. Associates are expected to prioritize safety, inspect equipment daily, maintain good housekeeping, and report unsafe conditions to the leadership team. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The pay rate is $20.50 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of Reach Forklift Operator experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a warehousing or distribution environment.
• Ability to lift and move 50 or more pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long periods of time.
• Follow distribution center PPE standards, such as wearing steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and a safety vest, as well as other standards provided by site leadership.
• Safety-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
• Follow customer requirements and other instructions to ensure accuracy, product stability, and safe loading and unloading.
• Complete daily inspections of equipment.
• Perform good housekeeping practices and follow a clean-as-you-go process.
• Operate equipment and conduct work in a manner that promotes safety; report unsafe conditions that cannot be self-corrected to the leadership team.
• Operate PIT equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
