About The Position

The Retail Register Operator provides friendly customer service while helping maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked store. The role is full-time, pays $17.00 per hour plus eligible commission, and pays weekly. The shift is 12:00 AM–8:30 AM, and weekends are required. This is an on-site position, not remote.

The employer requires a pre-employment drug test and background check, along with random employee drug testing. Iowa 80 cannot sponsor a visa.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, lifting, and climbing.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Pre-employment drug test and background check; employees are also subject to random drug testing.

• Cash handling experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Stock shelves and displays, keeping merchandise organized and available.
• Keep the store, aisles, shelves, displays, and work areas clean and organized.
• Perform routine cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, emptying trash, and cleaning restrooms.
• Help customers find products and answer questions in a friendly and timely manner.
